Montmorency Falls
Located between the river and the cliffs, it's one of the province's most spectacular sites. Montmorency Falls (83 m) dominates the landscape. It can be discovered on foot, by cable car, or from the gourmet restaurant. It's an ideal setting for a stroll after a business meeting or a reception. Accessible year-round, the site works its magic day and night. Since Québec City's 400th anniversary festivities, the entire cove of the park has been illuminated after dark. Trails 0.5 to 3 km long criss-cross the park. Go for a stroll to see the falls and the site's curiosities from many angles. Exceptional panoramas are yours to discover! For a good physical workout, try the panoramic staircase with its 487 steps from the bottom to the top of the park. It snakes its way up the side of the cliff, enabling you to see and hear the powerful falls.
Two bike paths cut through the park: one above the falls and the other below. The one below runs by the river along Route 138. It links Domaine Maizeret to Côte-de-Beaupré while going by Montmorency Falls. Above the falls, the other path follows Avenue Royale through Beauport. It leads to Boischatel and the Côte-de-Beaupré plateau Vélo Route Marie-Hélène Prémont. Combine the two paths by using the cable car! This offer is valid if room on the cable car permits.
